Blurb: Hardships and heartache brought them together…now it will tear them apart.
Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will’s past re-emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge…how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop ‘carving pumpkins.
This the second book in the Slammed series by Colleen Hoover. I really enjoyed this book, almost as much as the first one. Colleen Hoover is once again very good at mixing romance and drama and this book was les predictable than others at her hand.
In the book you follow Layken and Will after the first book. Her mother has died and they are now both in the same situation, trying to cope together. However something happens that tears them apart and the book follows this whole process. I'm not going to say what happens or how they'll cope because that might ruin the reading experience for you. Just read it to find out! Later in the book - in part 2 - something dramatic happens that reduced me to tears.
The book is well-written. It's from Wills point of view and at times very funny and sad. I love the extra characters even more now than I did after the first book. If you loved slammed, you'll love this book, but have some tissues prepared!
